How To Tell If Your Child Is Becoming A Victim Of A Child Predator
Parents always want to protect their children and part of that in today’s technological society means using internet monitoring software to monitor what they do on the internet. Key loggers can help you maintain surveillance over your home computer and keep your child from walking into an online predator’s trap. Online predator’s will do anything they can to groom their victims, so make sure you are in the loop and able to circumvent possible disaster.
If you aren’t sure what the signs of your child becoming a victim of a child predator, then here are some basic guidelines for what to look for:
- Watch to see how your child responds to you entering the room while they are on the computer. If you notice them react strongly; obviously try and close or minimize chat or web page windows, or even just shut their computer off altogether, then this could be a sign that something inappropriate is going on.
- Notice if your son or daughter starts receiving gifts out of nowhere and from someone you don’t know. Gift giving is a trademark move of child predators because it builds trust and simultaneously gives them ammunition to guilt your child into doing something they might not want to.
- They might start spending more than an hour online on their computer per day, along with becoming more and more secretive about what they are doing while they are online.
- Phone calls from long distant numbers or phone calls from people that you aren’t personally familiar with.
If you start noticing any of these signs or behaviors, then your child might be at risk and you should do something immediately. Communicate with your child openly and honestly, and make sure you start using internet monitoring software to record what they are doing on the internet, and at the very least, have a record of messages the child predator is sending if you were ever need proof as to what was happening.

Teach Your Kids How To Be Safe On Their Cellphones & The Internet
October 19th, 2010
Sexting Isn’t Just Something Kids Do
Sexting or other ways of sending sexual explicit pictures on the internet is becoming a bigger and bigger problem in America. As the use and instances of cell phones and computers becomes more common, so do the instances of sexually explicit material being distributed and received. This is a sincere problem for our children and the use of key logger programs or what people might refer to as spyware should be stressed as necessary for each and every home computer. While the buzz about this topic often refers to children or teenagers sending in messages to one another, it is sadly becoming a big problem with adults as well.
A recent case that every parent (but really, everyone – period) should read about in order to make sure they take steps to secure their home computers and especially, their children from potential threats.
Marion, Ohio – Prosecutor recommends 3 years probation for youth softball coach pleading guilty to sexting 13-year-old
As terrified as any parent would be to have this happen to your child, how do you know it isn’t? Do you use key logger programs to survey what is done on your home computers? In this case, Samuel Reed, age 38, was found guilty of importuning – a 5th degree felony in the state – after texting one of his 13 year old players sexually explicit messages. It was said that there were probably well over 100 messages sent before the girl and her mother contacted the authorities about receiving inappropriate texts.
It’s truly shocking how easy it is for an adult to do this kind of activity. Only through teaching our children awareness about how to deal with sexual messages on their cell phone or the internet, as well as utilize key logger programs or other types of spyware to maintain security on the home computers, can we start to imagine a sense of comfort for the youth of America.

Protect Your Home Computer From Sexting & Inappropriate Internet Messaging
October 17th, 2010
Sexting Scandal Involving Even Government Officials
Sexting and the sending or receiving of inappropriate sexual internet messaging is a growing problem with our techno-savvy world. What once seemed like a problem between children and teenagers is even becoming an ever present force with our adult population. Only through awareness education about what should be considered inappropriate messaging to send and receive, as well as, the use of a key logger, or what others might call computer spy software, can we protect everyone from this digital threat.
A recent horror that is coming to light in Madison Wis. is the catching of Calumet County District Attorney Ken Kratz “sexting” with a domestic abuse victim he was on the case of. The governor of the state, Jim Doyle (who has a long career serving as no-nonsense prosecutor defending victims) is now dealing with the issue, and trying to use the rarely used state law that gives the governor power to remove district attorneys with just cause. Reports say Kratz, who sent a strangulation victim over 30 text messages in 3 days, contacted the victim soon after their first interaction. With text messages saying wildly inappropriate things, as well as suggestions that he might reduce the sentence of the victim’s assailant if she didn’t comply with request, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.
With the ease in which you can message someone on their cell phone, this type of interaction is what I fear will only become more common. Becoming aware of what is happening around you is important, because sexting over phones or the internet is rapidly becoming an everyday problem for children and adults alike. Cell phones can be hard to monitor but make sure you at least protect yourself by using a key logger or computer spy software on your home computer. You can defend yourself against digital threats and the possibility that there already is inappropriate material already existing on your computer.

Bridge The Gap In America’s Strict Anti-Child Pornography Laws & Children
October 15th, 2010
Preventing Kids From Slipping In between The Cracks
Now every parent would agree that child pornography is bad, but not everyone might realize how easy it is for children, especially teenagers to get tried on accounts for child pornography because of exchanging sexually explicit pictures via the mobile phone or internet. While we don’t want to reduce the penalties for distributing or possessing child pornography, something needs to be said about the growing number of boys and girls who get involved in something they think is harmless, which snowball into felony charges, and even being listed publically as a sex offender for decades. Kids deserve a chance, and labeling someone as a sex offender at age 17, 18, or even 20 typically isn’t a reasonable penalty of the true action and intentions behind them. One of the only ways to secure your home computers (in order to make sure they don’t host child pornography) is to use computer monitoring software, or in other words, an undetectable keylogger.
Here’s a list of some of the steps legislation has tried to take in order to reduce the harshness of punishment for children who get caught in the cross-fire of what they thought was harmless fun and games:
- In 2009 Rep. Rosa Rebimbas (Connecticut) introduced a bill that would reduce the penalty for “sexting” between two consenting minors. Currently, it is a felony for children to send such messages and violators often end up in the state’s sex offender registry. With this new law, it would reduce the penalty of sending text messages with nude or sexual images for children under 18 to a Class A Misdemeanor.
- In April 2009 Vermont introduced a bill to legalize the consensual exchange of graphic images between two people 13 to 18 years old.
- In Ohio 3 lawmakers proposed a bill that would reduce sexting from a felony to a first degree misdemeanor and eliminate the possibility of a teenage offender being labeled a sex offender for years.
- Utah followed a similar path and reduced the penalty for sexting from a felony to a misdemeanor.
Make sure your kids are protected at your home computer(s) so that you can sleep easier. Start using computer monitoring software or an undetectable keylogger today and make sure you stay on top of what your kids are doing on the net.

How To Talk To Your Children About Nudity On The Web
October 11th, 2010
Reaching Out To Your Children About Nudity On The Web
Posting pictures of yourself nude or scantily clad on the internet, or sending them to someone via your mobile phone, is becoming an ever increasing phenomenon with today’s techno-savvy children. One of the only ways to be able to get involved with your children is to talk to them and try and educate them about the dangers of the internet and what they should do if they run into any problems. The best secondary solution is to employ the use of computer monitoring software, or keylogger software. With this type of software, you will be able to monitor and record everything done on the computer, from what was typed to programs launched to even websites visited!
If you are taking the road of education, then there is a lot of information for you to give them. As well, there are even mediums that might help you break through to them. In February of 2010 MTV released its groundbreaking half-hour special, “Sexting In America: When Privates Go Public”. This type of program might really help bridge the gap between your children just thinking you are acting like a parent, versus being aware of a real threat and witnessing a real example of it.
In MTV’s 30 minute special they outline the story of a young girl. At the age of 16 she was convinced by her ex-boyfriend to send her a nude picture and then he would get back together with her. The girl, who reported that it just felt good to be wanted again, did so and quickly found that the boy sent it to his entire contact list and that she was going to be haunted for the rest of her life because of it. Imagine having all your child’s classmates possess a nude picture of your son or daughter? Make sure you start talking with your child and use keylogger software or other computer monitoring software options!

Online Spy Software Brings Parents & Children Together Over Common Interests
September 6th, 2010
|
How to connect with your distant teenager by using our online spy software
Stealthily track their interests online and find common interests
As a parent of a pre-teen or teenager, do you often have trouble connecting with your child on a day-to-day basis? Of course there’s always the requisite family dinner or birthday party where their attendance and participation is expected, but other than that, how often do you really get to bond with the adolescent in your life?
With our computer monitoring software, sometimes referred to as “online spy software,” every parent who is looking for an easier way to make a connection with their difficult teen will find the solution for which they are looking. The most common function of our key logger programs is to help parents protect their children and families from the risks involved with using the Internet. However, if you think your family members are generally safe online users, or if you’ve already taken the necessary precautions, WebWatcher’s online spy software can bring you a link to your child that you’ve been searching for.
Our key logger programs record everything that happens on the computer where the software is installed. It could be your shared home PC, or maybe it’s your teenager’s personal laptop to which you rarely have access. Whichever machine you install the parental monitoring software on will have all of its activity recorded and sent to your online account directly.
This means that every YouTube video your child watches, every song they download, blog they visit or TV show they stream on Hulu will be recorded for you to review.
As a parent, children often resist honest and open communication with you, regardless of whether it’s about where they are going on Friday night, or just their everyday interests and preferences. By using our online monitoring software, you can secretly find out what they like to watch, listen to or read. Then, you can take this information and subtly slip it in to normal conversation. If they have been watching “Mad Men” online, casually ask them if they’ve seen the latest episode. If they downloaded the most recent Taylor Swift single, see if you can buy the album and play it in the car. By acting as if your interests are coincidentally lining up, you and your child may be brought closer together.
Our online spy software is totally invisible and untraceable by even the most skilled computer user, so there’s no risk of your child finding out that you’re watching them online.

Threats To Children On The Internet & How To Avoid Them With Key Logger Programs
September 3rd, 2010
|
Bypass the generational technology gap and find out what your kids are doing online with WebWatcher key logger programs.
Internet monitoring software helps parents keep up with their children’s more advanced online capabilities.
In today’s modern age of iPods and iPads, families have never experienced such vast generational gaps. Children and young adults innately understand the latest technologies that advance and progress every single day because they grew up with these changes happening around them all the time. Even the most technologically savvy parent probably can’t keep up with their child’s knowledge of the Internet, websites, chat rooms, instant messaging and social media.
Of the many key logger programs available on the market today, only WebWatcher operates completely invisibly to record and monitor all keystrokes made on the computer where the software is installed. Our internet monitoring software also tracks what websites your child visits and what they typed while at that site. Both of these operations take place completely unknown to the person using the computer, so even if your child has a greater penchant for computers than you do, they’ll never find out that you’re watching the sites they are visiting.
Even though almost every child in America has access to the Internet, it is still important to be safe and wise about how they are using this valuable resource. The following are a few surprising statistics about the Internet and children of which you should be aware:
- Eighty-five percent of children between six and 16 years old have encountered some form of pornography on the Internet, either on purpose or accidentally, usually while trying to do their homework online.
- Eleven is the average age children first are first exposed to pornography online.
- The biggest Internet pornography consumer group is made up of children between the ages of 12 and 17.
Besides being a dangerous place for children to come across pornography, the Internet also holds other dangers, including:
- Twenty percent of children who visit online chat rooms have been approached by a pedophile.
- Only 25 percent of children who have been sexually solicited online have told their parents about it.
- Twenty-five percent of children between nine and 17 years old are likely to freely give out their home address online.
- Sixty percent of children who have committed suicide expressed their intention to do so online, either on purpose or indirectly.
In order to be sure that you and your family avoid any chance of these dangers taking place in your home, consider investing in WebWatcher’s key logger programs. By utilizing the internet monitoring software, website tracking, screen shot imaging, e-mail recording and convenient “alert words” system, parents can ensure that the worst tragedies of the Internet do not threaten their children’s, or their family’s, well-being.

Undetected Keystroke Logger Program Will Protect Your Child While On Facebook
September 1st, 2010
|
Think your son or daughter doesn’t have a Facebook account? Think again.
Be proactive about protecting your family against the dangers of social networking sites
Did you know that Facebook recently garnered over 500 million active users (that is, people who have visited the website in the last 30 days)? If you think your child is not one of these 500 million people who are taking part in the daily goings-on of social networking sites like Facebook, then you should probably reconsider. Regardless of how old they are, it’s very likely that your son or daughter has a Facebook profile, an instant messenger account, their own personal e-mail address, and maybe even their own blog.
WebWatcher’s undetected keystroke logger will find out which websites and networking outlets your child is engaging in—even if they won’t tell you themselves. The keylogger records every single character typed on the machine where our software is installed—without your child ever knowing it. Our Internet monitoring software, or computer spy software as it’s sometimes known as, will tell you which networks your son or daughter is linked into and how often they visit them.
Facebook, which was once intended to serve college students only, is now a powerful online tool that connects people with other people, information and groups. It is not always in the best interest of your child to have free reign with such an influential resource—which is why the undetected keystroke logger is an equally valuable tool that can combat this modern Internet technology.
More important things to know about Facebook and other online social networks:
- 61 percent of 13-17 yr olds have a personal profile on social networking sites like Facebook
- 44 percent of teenagers with profiles on Facebook or Myspace have been contacted by a stranger, compared with 16 percent of those who don’t have a profile
- 50 percent of people who use Facebook log on every day
- The average Facebook user has 130 friends
- The website hosts over 900 million objects, like pages, groups, community pages, and events, that people can engage with
- The average person with a profile is linked in with 80 groups, community pages, and events
- The average user also creates 90 of their own pieces of content every month, whether that is a status update, links, photo upload, comment, or message
- More than 30 billion pieces of content are created each month
- Only three percent of teens reported being contacted by a stranger online to an adult
- Each week, MySpace deletes 25,000 profiles for people who don’t meet the 14-year-old age requirement
- Between 2007 and 2009, MySpace deleted 90,000 accounts that belonged to registered sex offenders
Avoid the pain that comes from dangerous use of the Internet and social media websites by investing in undetected keystroke logger software. You don’t have to shut down your child’s Facebook use entirely—just monitor it at a safe distance with helpful computer spy software.
